I Hate MS Windows!
September 4, 2008
Now the issue. MS Windows decided it no longer wanted to recognize my GPS device. After using the thing for well over a year, all of a sudden it won’t allow me to download my training data. I just spent 2 hours this morning troubleshooting the stupid problem. Downloaded new device drivers, updated my software to newer versions, and even consulted the resident villa IT person, my wife (thanks Dee!). All the Garmin stuff appears to be working. But I keep getting hung up during the installation wizard because MS Windows needs to install the drivers and it won’t recognize the Garmin. I really hope I can get this solved soon.
Thanks for letting me blow off some steam and vent!!!

Thanks for the support Javier. Do you have the same watch? If so, was wondering how you corrected the issue?
Thanks again!

[...] I Hate MS Windows! By Scott I have a great GPS watch, 305, and it plugs into my laptop via a USB cable. I can then run a fantastic training center program that keeps track of all the details about my exercise routines. [...]
